THE WILDCAT CHEER AND DANCE OPEN
Dear Coaches and Cheerleaders,
The USA Wildcats are pleased to announce the date of the 11th Annual Wildcat Cheer and Dance Open. This venue can accommodate more spectators with a prime view. School teams will compete on a cheer floor that is consistent with what is used at the CT State event. Also the All Star competition will be held on a 54 X 42 spring floor.

No Snow date for Scholastic Teams
ENTRY FEES DUE BY MARCH 1ST
$100 per scholastic team (early bird $85- if postmarked by February 1st)
$150 per all-star team (early bird $125- if postmarked by February 1st)
$40 per stunt group-max one minute routine to music (tumbling, dance or jumping will not be scored).
$20 top notch tumbler-must perform one standing skill (from a standing position) and one tumbling pass of your choice.
$20- Jump-off jumper- must execute 3 jumps of your choice. Can be continuous or individually. Must be 3 different jumps.
Additions or division changes will not be accepted on the day of the event.

WARM-UP AND PERFORMANCE TIMES
The week of the competition you will receive your actual registration and warm-up times by e-mail.
Please be sure to write your e-mail address legibly on your application.
Trophies, banners and Special Awards will be given.
ROUTINE TIME LIMIT
School teams will have 2 ½ minutes total (up to 1min 30 sec. music)
School dance team will have a 3 minute time limit.
All Star teams- 2 ½ minutes all music routine
All Star dance teams- 2 minutes and 15 seconds time limit.
College - up to a 2 ½ minute routine. All music may be used.
CONCESSION STAND
The concession stand will be run by The New Haven Field house
Video taping will be allowed from the stands. There will be professional videos sold by Stephen Lawrence Photography. .
RULES AND REGULATIONS
All School Teams must follow National Federation Rules.
College Teams must follow NCA or UCA rules.
All Star teams must follow USASF safety guidelines. WWW.USASF.NET
MUSIC
We will have a professional DJ and sound system set up for your use.
Please be sure your music is on a high quality CD and be sure to have a back up.
ATHLETIC TRAINER
An Athletic Trainer/Nurse will be available the entire day. Only in case of an emergency will they supply tape. All Teams are responsible for their own basic taping and first aid needs. Ice will be available.
GENERAL ADMISSION
Admission will be $10 per Adult. Students and Senior Citizens- $8.
CHEER GEAR & EVENT T-SHIRTS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE
